In today's lesson of theatre, Mr Patterson started the class with a group discussion about Weebly. Some people were still confused about how to use it and what to write on there and he went through the three components of Weebly that are going to assessed which are our performance journal, theatre history file and stagecraft folio.
Then we dispersed into our play groups for a final script practice. Mr Patterson came outside to give us some constructive criticism on what we've done so far. He suggested to me when I give my monologue to act more like an old man reminiscing on old times rather than younger than I am and as he described it prancing around.
Which was helpful because it gave me more insight to my character and therefore I'm able to connect with him better now. I feel much more comfortable playing the messenger now because I know what I'm supposed to act like now.
We are now performing our plays on Friday and the rest of the students are performing theirs on Wednesday but Em isn't going to be here on Wednesday and we obviously need her. This is a good thing, because it gives us more time to sort out costumes and stage positioning.
